What a week! From Move2BU to Welcome Week and then the first day of classes — not to mention Saturday night’s big concert — Baylor and Waco are once again buzzing with activity!
It all started last Wednesday and Thursday, when some 3,500 Baylor freshmen were helped into their new on-campus homes by a nearly equal number of student, faculty and staff volunteers — including President Livingstone!

Then, with dorms decorated, it was on to Welcome Week — including the Spirit Rally, Church Fair, Big Event, and candlelight worship service.

And Monday, classes began for the new school year! Roughly 20,000 students flooded campus, bringing an energy and excitement that has been missed all summer. Students took “first day” photos to send home to parents, and enjoyed free popsicles from President Livingstone.

What a week! And so much more to look forward to — first Dr Pepper Hour, Mosaic Mixer, Friday’s football season opener against Auburn, etc. So much is happening in the first 100 days!
Sic ’em, Bears!
