This year’s COVID-condensed spring calendar didn’t have room for a full day off, the way Diadeloso is traditionally celebrated. But the spirit of Dia must live on — and Baylor found a way, with a week-long series of evening activities informally dubbed “Semana del Oso”!
Each night last week, campus hosted traditional (in-person!) Diadeloso activities. Monday was student performances; Tuesday, a #BaylorDia-themed Dr Pepper Hour; Wednesday, an exotic animals petting zoo; and Thursday, movie night on Fountain Mall. Friday night’s concert was rained out, but the evening also included ¡Fiesta!. Saturday night, things wrapped up with late-night games and food on Fountain Mall, plus a campus-wide scavenger hunt.

Still want more? Here’s another taste of Diadeloso 2021:
As always, thank you to the students of Baylor Chamber for their hard work making this day a reality — especially given the difficulty of navigating COVID-19 protocols. Now — the race to the finish line, with just a few more days to go in the spring semester!
Sic ’em, Diadeloso!
